Barack Obama sought to stamp out signs of discord yesterday as his team blamed Bill and Hillary Clinton for tarnishing the presidential transition with the type of psychological drama and leaks that marked their years in the White House.
As the uncertainty over whether Mrs Clinton would accept the job of Secretary of State dragged on, aides from both camps were engaged in anonymous briefings that echoed the bitter exchanges of their marathon primary battle earlier this year.
in the words of one senior Democrat, “from a family business to multinational corporation”.
It isn't just that Chris Matthews despises Hillary, MSNBC has taken it as it's motto.
I still have not forgot the primary's and everything she said then so I just wont be to happy about her getting the job but I guess if she did she would do ok .Anyways maybe Chris and MSNBC still cant forget and forgive either .
This is media mess.
I think the Man is making some really good choices, trying to get Top People into the right places. He's been very thoughtful about it, mixing some new faces with some old, some with good street cred and no skeletons in the closet and then the Clintons. I don't have any problem with the Clintons, they managed to do the job even with an 800 lb gorilla on your back. I'm proud to have worked on Bill's campaign (2x) and Hilly was my very first lady politician crush.
I will support Obama and his choices even if it ends up Hillary :)
I don't believe that the latest Clinton scandal is tarnishing the Obama transition into the White House. Mr. Obama can hold his own. He proved it by being elected as our next President, and by bringing a feeling of renewal to our country as a whole. On the other hand, if it's not one Clinton scandal, it's another. Old news.
