As fighting intensified on the northern outskirts of Gaza City today, a top Hamas leader broke cover to warn Israel that the Islamists would kill Jewish children anywhere in the world in revenge for their own young who have died in the devastating assault.
"They have legitimised the murder of their own children by killing the children of Palestine," said Mahmoud Zahar, in a televised broadcast recorded at a secret location. "They have legitimised the killing of their people all over the world by killing our people."

The Israelis and the Palestinians are the original Hatfield's and McCoys. Revenge killing and the hate generated by the violence and killing on both sides has self perpetuated for generations and won't end until one or both clans are dead. So let's do the world and each side a favor. Close off all boarders and provide BOTH sides with all the bombs, rockets, tanks, and conventional weapons they want then stand back and let them annihilate each other. When the explosions and weapons firing finally stops and the fires go out we can go in and clean up the mess. Then the people of the world can all chip in and we can build a HUGE fountain memorial monument that circulates red fluid dedicated to the blasphemous MONUMENTAL STUPIDITY in the unholy city of Jerusalem...Praise God, Praise Allah...Amen!!!

DUH that has to be the dumbest comment I have read. If you were to do any real investigation you would know Israel is fighting for its life. If you check you will see that there never was a truce. Israel is responding to hundreds of rockets launched by hamas and other terrorists that hamas has given permission to fire as well. The palestinians brought this upon themselves by allowing these murdering thugs to hide among the children. And the muslims are 20 to 1 so much for a fair fight .but I don't think you are looking for a fair fight when the Palestinians take control over the terrorist there will be no peace Look at their beliefs the destruction of Israel and deceive the non-believers guess what that means us

I AM familiar with this conflict. What is going on has been happening for decades. During this time, each side has vowed the extermination and extinction of the other. The hate and violence between these two groups has been fed and fueled for generations. Children grow up being taught to hate and ultimately to fight and kill the other. This has become their purpose and mission in life. The Israelis historically perpetrate wholesale slaughter against the Arab Palestinians when they become provoked...and of course, invariably the Palestinians provoke the Israelis to avenge and honor the memories of their dead martyrs, parents, children and family. There is nothing "fair" or rational about this on-going "revenge killing". What IS "unfair" is the insane belief that by sacrificing the lives of innocent women and children and other non-combatants either intentionally or as "collateral damage"...that this will somehow bring honor to God/Allah and vindicate the dead by creating more dead...who's death of course needs to avenged by those who survive. Now THAT is dumb! From a militaristic standpoint, it never HAS been a "fair fight". During the 60's the Palestinians where using SLING SHOTS against the Israelis, while the Israelis were using automatic weapons to fight them! Even now...the Palestinians are using home made rockets to lob haphazardly at Israelis towns while the Israelis are using F-16's, smart bombs and tanks! Nothing "fair" about it. The Palestinian idea of a "smart bomb" is a gullible Palestinian with C4 strapped to his body! Sorry amigo...I don't understand what you were trying to say in the last couple of sentences.

The last few sentences were in regard to the koran a book they (muslims) twist until its only purpose is to teach the destruction of Israel. If you read about the different arab or plain muslims some are not arabs
You would know how many thousands of schools run by the hamas and Taliban or others ALL have one mission in life that is to destroy Israel and all non believers. Not sure I can make it any easier for you if you can't figure out who are the bad people then you must be a contributor of state sponsored terror. the problem with your thinking is you cant see the big picture Duh again for you ALL the muslim people their duty well no matter how many times you hear truth it wont matter I'm sure with youe thinking 911 was our fault get your head out of where it is and try to understand the reason Israel went in to gaza was because of all the rockets fired by your buddies ohh and in the 60 all the arab countrys went to war with Israel. look it up its real histroy.

Mahmoud Zahar, Good job you have just made the case for Israel tracking down and killing every member of humas before they ever leave Gaza.
I'm not Jewish but I support Israel killing every member of Humas and then turning around to Lebonon and telling the other terroist group if you Kill one more Jew you're next!
It took Israel nearly thrity years to track down and kill everyone involved in the 1972 Olympics murders. But here they should be able to do it thirty days as they are trapped like the terroist rats they are!

.Well on your first comments about just letting them fight it out that was in my option a joke and I took it as such. It is true the Jews and muslims hate each. What I was trying to convey to you that the muslims hate us as well. If you cant see the hate and murder theses muslim do homicide bombing not only in Israel but against our well American troops Not sure who you are I am a American an examine who did not enjoy the war in Viet nam when I got out of the service crowds hated us spit on us When the muslims get to your country maybe then you will see their capability to hate the non-believer And time I know what I write is fact. We went through 911 that should have shown the world what muslims who twist that evil book are capable of. There are hundreds of schools that teach the koran to children around the age of two and up. They twist that book Its hard to comprehend someone who claims to know the history past and present that are as blind as both you and martinez.I don't care I have little time left and just pity people with beliefs as the two of you. Yes, my original comment about allowing the Israelis and the Palestinians fight it out to the death was a tongue in cheek joke, an exaggeration if you will. You are right about that. And you are right...there are radical factions of Muslims who hate non-Muslims in general and Americans in particular. That doesn't mean ALL Muslims have the same hateful feelings as those who hold radical views.
I am an American as well and served two tours in Viet Nam. I understand what you are saying about people "spitting" on us when we got back. It wasn't a good feeling nor did I feel very proud of my service or my actions while in country. Currently there are many Muslims who are already living and working here in this country...people who are good, honest, hard working folks like yourself who want nothing more then to live their lives in safety and peace and provide a good future for their families.
The terrorist actions during 911 was an unprovoked attack against our country and a tragic loss of innocent life! But you are extending broad responsibility for this act to ALL Muslims and this is categorically WRONG. Your obvious hate and contempt for ALL Muslims makes your hateful motivation and intent the same as the radical Muslims you condemn. It's unfortunate that you are not able to see this in yourself.
You are certainly entitled to your opinion about what you think I know, understand or don't understand. I'm not sure or particularly care what you consider to be my "mission" or possible anti-American agenda. You can choose to believe whatever you want. And yes...it's very difficult to follow your thoughts. Partly because of your grammar and punctuation and partly because your thoughts appear to be fragmented, disjointed and disorganized. I have no desire to humiliate you. You seem to be quite capable of doing that to yourself. As one Nam vet to another...if you haven't already, I STRONGLY encourage you to contact your VA rep and get some help brother. If you have, it might be a good time to go back and just check in.
