As I said in my speech, corporations are well on their way to controlling the flow of information in America. The Comcast/NBC merger is just the first domino, and if it happens, the trend towards media consolidation may be impossible to reverse.

These new mega-corporations will control both the television networks that broadcast programming and the programming itself. They will have huge influence over our campaigns (thanks, Roberts Court!). And their next target will be the Internet.
